Discovery

For discovery sharing it was ok because the Whenua kids didn’t say much.

They came up and said can we watch your video then they left after the video was finished so we didn’t really ask if they have any questions.  

Some were really into what we were talking about.

Some of the kids were listening and some weren't.

I wouldn’t change anything because we tried our hardest to get it done and it came out good.

Holiday snapshot

In the holidays I flew on a plane down to Palmerston  North by myself to go and see my cousins, nana and grandad in Dannevirke.

My nana and grandad own a cafe called the Vault Cafe and I help them do something like make coffees, clean the tables, serve customers with the food, cut stuff up, fold all the towels and do the dishes plus some other stuff.

I also rode my BMX bike and my skateboard.

Cross country

Cross country

For cross country I ran in the 10 year old girls and I came 4th and made it into HP and came 8th and then made it into TV and at TV I came around 11 or 12 but I wasn't quite sure.   

When I was at the start I was so nervous because I don't know what I would came but I gave it my all.

When I was training all I was thinking of was hitting the 10 minute mark.

My training paid off it really helped me in my races.

My goals for HP was to get into TV and I did.

At TV my goal was to not stop and I achieved my goal.

My other goal was to try not to fall over or to trip up but at the end I looked back then fell over.

I really love cross country I wish we could do it every term.

For the block run my fastest was 9:30 which in a really proud of.

WHY

I will do singing and jump jam in the mornings because jump jam can get you warmed up and I pick singing because I like singing.

For Jamp Jam I will get Mr Singh to set up the projector.

After morning tea I would go to the pool because I like to go in water and playing on the pool toy, I would get some of the lifeguards to watch us.

After lunch I would pick a movie like Boss Baby and everyone can bring their own food and drinks.

Idrive

Week 5

Idrive

For idrive this year I have enjoyed doing sport because I really like to run around and be active.

If I could change something it will be changing gardening to marble runs because I like playing marbles and making things that are different.

I would like to add sewing because that something i like doing.

The thing that has been challenging is probably perler beads because I didn’t know what to make for something that you can use.

Netball

Netball

This year I play for the Ngatea Fantails netball team.

My coach is Tania Dovey and my manager is Leanne my mum.

My greatest achievement will have to be getting nearly all of my goals when we were versing the team Ngatea Storms.

I have definitely improved on sticking to my play and trying the get the ball off the other team.

This year I play for the Hauraki Year 6 rep netball team.

Lots of our games were really hard but they were very close scores.

The thing I love about netball is that it is just really fun and exciting

Holiday Recount

In the holidays I went to Brooke’s house which is just across the road from mine.

I stayed there for two nights and three days.

Here is some of the things we did, we went down to the farm and feed the calves and played on the hay bales, we also played some games and watched a lot of TV, it was mostly in the mornings and at night.

Some of the games we played were hide and seek, the friendship test and roads outside on the concrete with the scooters.

On the first day we went down to the farm to play, we were walking around and saw a palm kernel trailer and it was filled with water so we tried to get the water out but it didn’t work.

Brooke came up with a good idea to try to walk in the inside of it without gumboots so we tried, when Brooke was coming back she slipped and fell into the water.

Brooke decided to just have a swim in it so we did.

We also went to the run off to separate the calves.

Brooke had to wait at the gate so I could take my twenty calves down, when I got to the paddock Brooke said that my lot of calves only look like ten not twenty.
